Lake Byllesby Campground Building

Lake Byllesby Regional Park's long-range plan was approved in 2018. This plan recommends the construction of a severe weather shelter within the park. Dakota County intends to construct this building on the eastside of the campground. It will serve as a severe weather shelter for campground users, visitors and staff. It will also provide additional restrooms and showers.

Construction will begin Sept. 9 and last until early summer 2027.
