Boating

Dakota County is home to many beautiful lakes that offer an array of recreational boating opportunities including fishing, skiing, parasailing, wind surfing and other types of boating and water activities.

The boat launch is open to the public when the buoys are in place around the Lake Byllesby Dam. This is from about May-October. Open and close dates can vary due to weather.
