Community event ​request form

If you would like a public health team member to attend an event, please fill out our online form. Please submit your request one month in advance of the event to allow for processing. Dakota County Public Health will attempt to attend or provide resources to community event requests. Due to staff availability, scope of work and timing of the event, some requests may be denied.​​

Dakota County Public Health has a variety of resources and flyers to promote our services.

Resource guides

Our Community Health Worker team built a Resource List (Spanish, Somali) of  recommendations for dental, food, health, housing, clothing, immigration, parenting and pregnancy.

The Dakota County WIC team compiled a list of community food shel​ves ​and organizations that offer free meals. The document is reviewed regularly and also contains information for nearby counties.​​

If you participate in assistance programs, like Medical Assistance or WIC, you can access other activities at a free or discounted cost. Downloa​d WIC's Free or Discounted Programs for Families (Spanish or Somali).​
