Child Support
Sending and Receiving Child Support Payments
Sending support payments
If you have an open child support case, support payments must be sent to the Minnesota Child Support Payment Center for proper credit. Do not send payments to the other party. Most court orders require income withholding. If income withholding is not available, payments can be made several ways.
- Make free payments from your checking or savings account at Minnesota Child Support Online.
- Pay by credit or debit, or other electronic payment form, at iPayOnline. iPayOnline charges a fee.
You can have payments withdrawn from a checking or savings account. Instructions on how to set this up are on the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth and Families website. Complete an Automatic Withdrawal Form.
