Waste Education for Schools
Dakota County offers a variety of resources to help schools enhance student and staff recycling knowledge.
Educational opportunities and resources
Field trip busing (Grade 4 and School Green Teams)
- Free bus to visit recycling, trash and compost facilities
- Available for all 4th grade students, Green Team students grades 5 and up, chaperones and school staff once per year.
- Minimum 25 participants required to attend

Contact schoolrecycling@co.dakota.mn.us. Requests must be made at least 2-weeks before the scheduled performance or fieldtrip. Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served rolling basis as funds allow.
