Dakota County provides resources for residents, teachers, students, community groups and other organizations to help with waste reduction and recycling.

Waste education resources

Reserve free education kits on recycling, composting and reducing waste. Each kit contains props, talking points and handouts. After you complete your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to pick up your items at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley.

Dakota County residents and event sponsors can borrow containers for free. Event recycling containers fold down for easy transport and come with bags and signs.
