Harry Avenue and Mills Town State Trail

County Project 97-2​25

Dakota County is realigning Harry Avenue and the Mills Town State Trail in Lake Byllesby Regional Park. The project will​ create a safer trail crossing at Harry Avenue.

Project o​​verview

The project components include:

• Gravel road realignment
• Trail paving and realignment
• Fence relocation
• Dam turbine exhibit installation

Construction u​pdates

• Harry Avenue will remain open to the public, but use caution and be aware of construction equipment and construction workers in the area.
  
• Mill Towns State Trail and Harry Avenue will have temporary closures from the boat launch to the bridge in early July. This is to install the dam turbine exhibit.​
