Diffley Road (County Road 30) Resurfacing
County Project 30-044
Dakota County is resurfacing Diffley Road (County Road 30) from Interstate 35E to Dodd Road in Eagan.
This segment is part of the 11.5 miles of roadways resurfaced this construction season. Pavement resurfacing involves removing and replacing a layer of asphalt. This is referred to as a “mill and overlay.” The result will be better looking, longer lasting, and smoother roadway.
Road closures and detours
Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, flaggers, and delays throughout the project. Please allow extra time for travel, watch for construction signage and be cautious while driving through the construction area.
Construction progress
Work will tentatively begin summer 2026.
The contractor will also be working on trail and crosswalk improvements. All work is weather dependent.
