Dickman Avenue (County Road 83) Resurfacing
County Project 83-013
Dakota County is resurfacing Dickman Avenue (County Road 83) from 290th Street E. and 280th Street E. (County Road 86) in the Randolph and Randolph Township.
This segment is part of the 11.5 miles of roadways resurfaced this construction season. Pavement resurfacing involves removing and replacing a layer of asphalt. This is referred to as a “mill and overlay.” The result will be better looking, longer lasting, and smoother roadway.
Road closures and detours
Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, flaggers, and delays throughout the project. Please allow extra time for travel, watch for construction signage and be cautious while driving through the construction area.
Construction progress
Work will tentatively begin the end of July 2026.
All work is weather dependent.
