Recycling Zone Locations

Drop-off household hazardous waste, electronics, small household appliances and recyclables at Dakota County's Recycling Zone in Eagan. Most items are free for residents to drop-off.

Shop the Reuse Zone for free products other people have dropped off, like paints, stains, lawn chemicals and more. Inventory changes daily.

Recycling Zone Plus is a joint project between Dakota and Scott Counties and will be open to residents in 2027. Recycling Zone Plus will accept the same items as the Recycling Zone in Eagan and more.

Recycling Zone - Eagan

This convenient location in Eagan provides disposal services for household hazardous waste, electronics and recylables. There's also a Reuse Zone to find free products that other people have dropped off, like paints, stains, cleaners, lawn chemicals .

Coming soon - Recycling Zone Plus

In partnership with Scott County, a second household hazardous waste and recycling facility will be open in early 2027. This Lakeville location will provide the same great services as the original Recycling Zone plus even more.
