Well Permits

Dakota County regulates the constructing and sealing of water wells.  This is to ensure clean, safe drinking water for residents.

​Well construction and sealing permit applications are normally completed by a licensed well contractor.   

Monitoring and product recovery wells must be annually registered. Dakota County will mail a permit application to the responsible party.
