Homestead & Tax Relief Programs
Disabled Veterans
This program provides a market value exclusion of $150,000 or $300,00 for a homestead of a:
- Honorable discharged veteran who has a service-connected disability rating of 70 percent or higher.
- Surviving spouse of certain qualifying veterans and service members.
- Primary family caregiver or qualifying veterans.
Apply online
- Once application is submitted, you will receive an email from DocuSign.
- If more information is necessary, Assessing Services will contact you.
Applications are due Dec. 31 and will affect the next year's taxes.
Required supporting documents
- U.S. Government form DD214 or other official discharge papers verifying honorable discharge.
- Certified letter by the United States Veterans Administration as having a service-connected disability
