Wentworth Avenue (County Road 8) Trail Gap Construction
County Project 08-035
Dakota County and West St. Paul are constructing a new section of trail on the south side of Wentworth Avenue between Robert Street and Oakdale Avenue. This project will fill in a 2,200-foot gap in the local trail system.
Because the trail is not finished, people who walk, bike or use wheelchairs do not have a safe, dedicated path to use between Robert Street and Oakdale Avenue. This will make the area safer and help people reach local businesses and jobs more easily. It will also connect this trail to other trails nearby.
