County Road 38 (McAndrews Road) Corridor Study
County Project 38-61
Dakota County and the City of Burnsville studied a corridor along McAndrews Road (County Road 38). The study was from County Road 5 to Aldrich Avenue.
What is a corridor study?
Corridor studies look at current and future transportation needs. We look at data and get input from the community to find ways to improve safety and mobility and meet transportation goals.
Any improvements identified would be considered for potential future construction projects. The county will fund and complete final design and construction of any improvements as part of a separate, future project.
The corridor study will looked to identify ways to:
- Improve safety and mobility for all users
- Identify non-motorized crossing enhancement opportunities
- Identify short and long-term improvements for the future
