145th Street (County Road 42) Intersection Improvements at Akron Avenue

County Project 42-187

Dakota County is improving the intersection at County Road 42 and Akron Avenue in Rosemount. The project will consist of removing some pavement and portions of the median, regrading the area to drain, and making the intersection smoother for the north-south traffic. 

Road closures and detours

Traffic control devices and warnings will be placed in advance for detour during construction. The access for residences will remain open during construction. Expect delays.

Construction progress

Oct. 30-Nov. 7

• Paving of the roadway is scheduled to finish up by the evening on Friday, Oct 30
• Marking pavement and installing signs will follow paving in the first week of November 

All work is weather dependent.
