Children's Mental Health Local Advisory Council

The council seeks input from parents, youth, caregivers, providers and community members on what services are needed to support children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. View Committee Bylaws.

The Children's Mental Health Local Advisory Council (LAC) promotes awareness and understanding of mental health. Although awareness of the biological basis of mental health conditions has increased, individuals experiencing these conditions may still encounter stigma or negative responses from others.
