Budget and Property Tax Open House (Sept. 10)

Dakota County will host a Budget and Property Tax Open House Thursday, Sept. 10 from 5–6:30 p.m. at the Dakota County Western Service Center, 14955 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley.

This open house is an opportunity for residents to:

• Better understand the county budget and property tax levy and the services the county provides.
• Learn how rising costs, new state and federal cost shifts and other factors are creating new challenges for 2027 budget planning.
• Ask questions about their property taxes.

​There is no formal presentation. Residents can attend anytime during the open house.

A final budget open house is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5–6 p.m. at the Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings.
