Property Tax Statements

Once a year the tax statement and valuation notice are sent together in mid-March. If a property is sold or purchased during the year a second statement is not mailed to the new owner.

Your statement will outline the amount you'll owe and the due dates.

Statement details

There are four main sections to the tax statement:

  • Property Information: Details of the property including ownership, legal and property address
  • Property Notice Summary: An outline of the valuation and taxation process. It is found on all three property notices.  For more details go to the Tax Timeline.
  • Tax Breakdown: Shows the property taxes attributed to different taxing districts. Compares the amount for the current and prior year. This includes any credits received or special assessments added to the property.
  • Tax Payment Stub:  Provides payment amounts and due dates

View a Sample Tax Statement to get a more detailed description of the statement and line items.

For information on how taxes are determined and the factors that impact them, go to Understanding Property Taxes.

When looking up a property either:

  • Enter only the house number and select the address from the list
  • Use the Property ID from the tax statement (no dashes or spaces)
