Dakota County sponsors Community Volunteer Fair Oct. 1

Dakota County residents looking for ways to get involved and help others are invited to the Community Volunteer Fair Thursday, Oct. 1 from 3–5 p.m. at Wescott Library in Eagan.

The fair will feature a variety of organizations in the community, including youth programs, adult language education, hospice care and environmental work. Other volunteer opportunities will include community events, public health initiatives, violence prevention and intervention and disability support services. Programs are open to all ages and interests with many providing training and direct supervision.
