Computers are available for public use at all Dakota County Library locations.
Computers are devoted to different uses. Check your library location for availability of these computers.
Wi-Fi access
Bring your own laptop or device and use the library's free Wi-Fi. Access the internet inside library locations or in the parking lot.
Internet/word processing
Our computers have internet access and are loaded with LibreOffice (with Write, Calc, Base, and Impress). A limited number of computers have Microsoft Office installed.
Catalog/research
We have computers that are dedicated to the library catalog and research tools.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher) is installed on a limited number of computers in the library.
Catalog computers are restricted to using the library catalog and other library-sponsored resources.
This software list does not apply to other special-purpose computers in the library.
