Summer Discovery
Visit the library for fun reading and learning activities for kids ages birth to 18.
The program runs June 1–Aug. 31, 2026.
How to participate
Starting June 1, head to your nearest Dakota County Library location and pick up your activity log. Complete activities and return your completed log by Aug. 31 for a free book. Available while supplies last.
Summer Discovery materials are available for the following age groups:
- Children age birth–11
- Teens age 12-18
